What inspires you to create art?

My dad inspires me to create art because he always encourages me.

Can you describe your favorite art piece and why it’s special to you?

My favorite art piece was a butterfly I once drew. It’s special because I made it for one of my teachers, knowing she likes butterflies.

What is your favorite medium to work with, and why do you like it?

My favorite medium is Prisma color pencils because they are easy to use and blend well.

How do you feel when you’re making art?

When I’m making art, I feel happy and proud of what I’m creating.

Where do you usually get ideas for your artwork?

I usually get ideas from videos I’ve seen or pictures.

Who is your favorite artist, and how do they inspire your work?

My favorite artists are Vincent Van Gogh and Michelangelo. They inspire me because of their ability to create with different mediums and tools.

How has being part of the art classes helped you grow as an artist?

The art classes have helped me grow as an artist by teaching me new skills and mediums I now enjoy, and showing me how to improve my pieces.

What challenges have you faced while creating art, and how did you overcome them?

One challenge I faced was when my idea didn’t turn out as I hoped. I overcame it by thinking carefully about what I wanted to create and finding ways to improve.
