What inspires you to create art?
I’m inspired by all the artists who make amazing and beautiful artworks. I want to keep improving so that one day, I’ll finish a project and be surprised by how much I’ve grown, wondering how I even made it!”
Can you describe your favorite art piece and why it’s special to you?
My favorite art piece is a pumpkin I made with oil pastels. When I looked at it after I finished, I was surprised that I made it, and it showed me how much I’ve improved.”
What is your favorite medium to work with, and why do you like it?
I enjoy working with any pencil medium, especially shading pencils and charcoal. I love blending and shading, and so I prefer using dry mediums like these.”
How do you feel when you’re making art?
When I am creating art, I feel relaxed and calm. Any anxiety or stress I have leaves my mind.
Where do you usually get ideas for your artwork?
My artwork is mostly based on online references or pieces created by other artists.”
Who is your favorite artist, and how do they inspire your work?
My favorite artist is “Diego Fazio”, he has unimaginable pieces and he motivates me to try to be as amazing as he is. His artwork inspires me.
How has being part of the art classes helped you grow as an artist?
Art class has helped me grow by improving my basic skills, teaching me new tricks, and pushing me to create art I didn’t think I could make.
What challenges have you faced while creating art, and how did you overcome them?
Some challenges I faced when creating art were having incorrect proportions, but I used the grid method to fix them.”
